This unique and very special day was celebrated on Friday, 27th September. It was celebrated to imbibe in young minds love and respect for our country. Children as well as parents came dressed in various regional costumes. All were accorded a warm traditional welcome.
Ladies were asked to draw henna patterns on their palms . They danced to the rhythm of beats of drums. A quiz based on India was organized for children and their parents.
Scrap books and power point presentation on- Festivals of India, Dances of India and India my country were prepared. There was fun and frolic all around. Everybody took the pledge to love and respect their country. The unique feature of India – Unity in diversity was truly highlighted
